Cat D5C steering clutch specs anyone have a manual?

I'm working on a Cat D5C, VIN 6LS02705, and was wondering if anyone might have a service manual for the steering clutches and bands

Specifically looking for the thickness specs on the friction discs if anyone has them handy. Would appreciate any info, measurements, or pages from the manual if you've got it

Man without the manual in front of you, you're asking for headaches and the friction disc thickness should be 0.180" new, with a wear limit down around 0.150", values I got from a little looking around, don't run them thinner or you'll be right back in there.

That's good info about the thickness, at 0.180 when new and a 0.150 wear limit. Where did you find it? Has anyone had success finding manuals on the Cat website and getting good support from them?

Thanks a ton for that, really appreciate you taking the time to look it up. It saved me a lot of trouble while I try to find the full manual. I'm glad to have those numbers handy so I don't run into bigger issues down the line. Really grateful
