seeking used left joystick assembly for Cat D4G dozer

I'm looking for a used left joystick assembly for a Cat D4G dozer. I checked AliExpress, but didn't find anythin. I also contacted three salvage yards, but I haven't heard back from them yet. If anyone knows where I can get one or has one for sale, I'd really appreciaet your help

Have you tried cat dealerships? It's not like they'll have it in stock, but they might at least give you some pointers where to look. Also, did you check what's on ebay or some specialized sites like soonparts?

I once needed a joystick for a Komatsu dozer and struck out with big suppliers too but eventually, I found one through a niche online forum where someone was parting out their machine

Keep an eye on ebay and communities. Someone somewhere has the joystick, so it's a matter of waiting out until you fin d the one you're looking after.

Totally! I once found a rare control valve for my old 953 in a Facebook group after striking out with dealers. People have some crazy stuff tucked away. Waiting's a pain, but with older machines, patience pays off if you want the proper part. Wonder how long the OP is willing to wait

you know, sometimes you have to get creative with salvage yards. Have you checked out General Gear and Machine in Idaho or Wengers of Myerstown in Pennsylvania?
They specialize in older Cat equipment and often have a massive inventory that's not always online. It might be worth giving them a call and asking if they have a D4G sitting in their yard. You might also find a rebuilt assembly through them
